Wild blueberry and lemon curd crepes - La Chandeleur

Le Chandeleur wasn’t a festival I was very familiar with until the lovely folks at Bonne Maman introduced me to it. It’s basically French pancake day; some say it celebrates the end of winter, others link it to Jesus’ presentation in the temple and most say it dates back to the 5th Century when the pope began candlelit processions offering crepes to poor pilgrims. Whatever it’s origin, it is a wonderful excuse to indulge in some delicious pancakes - and smother them in jam for good measure!

I’ve come up with a light and refreshing crepe recipe that I think you’re going to love! Softly whipped cream, zesty lemon curd and Bonne Maman Wild Blueberry jam are all rippled together on top of paper-thin crepes. It’s the perfect way to colour your crepe!
